It's time for another Self Portrait Challenge and the topic is still introducing ourselves. So here is a bit more about me...I'm a vegetarian, an animal rights advocate and I love my cats, especially Oliver.
I took this photo Wednesday night after I learned that Oliver's heart murmur had progressed. He's had a heart murmur all his life and when he was a kitten, the vet figured he'd live between 3 - 5 years. Well he's now 5 and a half and I was hopeful that we'd leave his annual ecocardiogram with another, "he's looking fine, we'll see you both in a year", but that wasn't the case. He needs to take more medication and we'll be seeing the vet in 6 months. So, for now it's one day at time and hopefully he'll stay as is for another couple years.
oh... I feel very touched by your picture.

I'm crossing my fingers that he will be well and live another long time more! *hugs*

Oh, Suzanne.
{hug}
But clearly Oliver didn't care for the vet's prognosis the first time, so maybe he'll continue to ignore the cloudier forecast.

That's a beautiful, beautiful picture. Go veggies, I'm one, too. I'm sorry to hear little oliver isn't doing well, I'll be hoping that the medications and other care will help keep up his health.
